Winter Wedding-Brides Magazine

This stunning winter wedding we designed last January photographed by the amazing Alison Conklin was featured in Brides Magazine. I’m so happy to finally share her amazing photos and the hard work of all the talented vendors that made this wedding so gorgeous. Bridget & Tom celebrated their one year anniversary just yesterday the 26th! Bridget joined the Sullivan Owen team in November working with me and our brides. She’ll be writing a few upcoming posts about the process of working with your designer and putting together all the details that make a wedding your own. Enjoy!

Philadelphia Wedding

The new Fall/Winter issue of Philadelphia Wedding was just published and I’m thrilled to share our two gorgeous features. The first is our vibrant and fun color themed wedding at terrain.

This wedding was also featured on Green Wedding Shoes

The second story features a wild and textural non-floral centerpiece. Normally I don’t get excited about a non floral centerpiece because they sometimes feel too DIY to me. They are not what you would go to a professional designer for in my opinion but I think I’ve found my way. My take on the traditional “dish garden” is a nice update, it still feels like a piece that was designed and is just as much in my style and aesthetic as a bowl bursting with flowers. I could see this being stunning in the fall or winter and all the plants were able to be planted after the fact.

Lonny Mag

Color me flattered that Nicole Sewall, managing director of bhldn listed me as a source of inspiration in this feature in Lonny’s Weddings Issue. The issue is gorgeous and they feature 4 very unique and personal celebrations that I thoroughly enjoyed! You can view the issue here.

bhldn flower guide

When bhldn approached me about working on a floral guide I couldn’t have been happier. Though there are numerous guides on the internet they often contain incorrect names, nicknames and misinformation about various flowers so it was nice to work on a guide with not just beautiful flowers but to start a resource based on the best information we could find. You can see the guide with my spring and early summer selections here…
