In two years, I haven't changed the finish on a single piece. The collection is white porcelain, satin clear glaze — that's it, and it's intentional.
The Pearl First Edition is not a color. It's a lustrous finish applied by hand over the same glaze, on the same form, then fired a third time to a permanent iridescence that moves differently in every light. From across a room it still reads as white. Up close, it's something else entirely.
99 pieces, made exclusively for Mother's Day 2026. Each one signed, numbered, and finished by me. These 99 are the only Pearl Baby Twists this year. The finish may find its way to other forms — but not yet.
Each piece is handmade in the USA using slip-cast porcelain, crafted from natural earth minerals. The satin-clear glaze enhances the soft curvature while preserving the organic feel of the form. A lustre overglaze is applied over the satin and then fired a third time. Small freckles or subtle variations may appear, a signature of its handmade origin. Every vase is inspected, signed, and numbered by me, Sullivan, drawing on 15 years of professional floral design experience.
