Inspired by the hand that holds a bouquet, Barely Cinched offers gentle structure and natural movement—designed for arrangements that feel freshly gathered, never forced.
After years of designing bridal bouquets, I've learned how much power lives in the lightest touch. The best bouquets look freshly picked and softly gathered—not overworked. When I build them, it's all about control from a single point: the thumb and forefinger as fulcrum, just enough tension to keep things together without crowding the blooms.
Barely Cinched is that concept in vase form. The gently folded porcelain mimics a hand's natural curve, cradling stems in an open yet intentional way. Its subtly narrowed waist keeps compositions loose but not unruly, while the undulating rim encourages variation in stem height—because not everything should be cut to match.
It's the vase I reach for again and again—functional, floral-friendly, and beautiful.
Each piece is handmade in the USA using slip-cast porcelain, crafted from natural earth minerals. Small freckles or variations may occur, reflecting the human hands behind each form. Every vase is individually inspected, signed, and numbered by me, Sullivan, drawing on 15 years of professional floral design experience.
Numbered series in an open edition.
