Twist No.1

Inspired by both archival and contemporary Dior, I studied how designers drape fabric on the human form to sculpt movement and structure. Twist No.1 brings that same sensibility to a tall bunch of blooms. I spent nearly three years refining this form—a vase you can quite literally drop flowers into, and it “arranges” them for you.

By far the easiest piece in the collection for flower lovers to use, its sculpted curves support draping stems and invite effortless, artful compositions. The narrow waist is proportioned to make the most of two market bouquets. Striking when empty, but truly comes alive when filled with something seasonal.

Each piece is handmade in the USA using slip-cast porcelain, a process that balances precision with the organic touch of the maker’s hand. Porcelain is composed of natural earth minerals, and each vase may include subtle freckles or small variations that speak to its handmade nature.
